Nov 22_2012 II Sam 21

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read, 2nd Samuel 21. King David allows for the Gibeonites to be avenged. David gives the bones of Saul and Jonathan into Rizpah's care. The battles with the Philistines continue. God blesses David and his descendants; “22 These four were descended from the giants in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.” 2 Samuel 21:22, English Standard Version (ESV). God love's David, because always David turned to and trusted God. David's faith was also on his descendants. With all his problems and sin king David had much to be giving God thanks for.

THANKSGIVING DEVOTIONAL- THURDAY NOV 22

SCRIPTURE: Revelation 7: 9-12
9 I looked again. I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb
10 and heartily singing: Salvation to our God on his Throne! Salvation to the Lamb!
11 All who were standing around the Throne—Angels, Elders, Animals—fell on their faces before the Throne and worshiped God,
12 singing: Oh, Yes! The blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving, The honor and power and strength, To our God forever and ever and ever! Oh, Yes!

THE GREATEST THANKSGIVING
God has invited us to this Thanksgiving service!! How wonderful it will be to stand with our departed loved ones and sing praises to our God. The multitude of angels will sing the Hallelujah Chorus in perfect pitch and we can join in with them. We will feel the vibration of praise and be basked in the Glory of God. At that moment the cure of cancer and health diseases and all our infirmities will disappear. We will fall to our knees before the Throne and worship God in unity. This will be the perfect Thanksgiving service and we will give honor and power and applaud his strength forever and ever. Oh Yes you want to be there. Believe in the Lord and repent and invite Him into your heart this thanksgiving if you are not in a relationship with him.

PRAYER SUGGESTION

Dear Jesus I claim you as my Lord and Savior, forgive and save me today. I will follow you always. Amen

Have a blessed Thanksgiving day, making sure that those around you know whom your giving thanks to. Always keep the first thing first, that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 ESV. Bless God in Thanksgiving, he has richly blessed you.
