2015 – I Samuel 29
Let The
World See Jesus!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.
We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in
God’s Word in approximately three years.
“4 But when
the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of
woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those
who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” Galatians
4:4-5 , English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel
Chapter
29; “David objected to by the Philistines. (1-5) He is dismissed by Achish. (6-11)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we see that David even though he is accepted by king
Achish, he is rejected to by the Philistines. He is dismissed by Achish, even
when he didn’t want to fight without David. “9 Then Achish answered and said to David, "I know that you are as
good in my sight as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the
Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’ 10 Now
therefore, rise early in the morning with your master’s servants who have
come with you. And as soon as you are up early in the morning and have light,
depart." 11 So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to
return to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.” I
Samuel 29:9 -11, ESV. Sometimes it may
seem hard to go on as a child of God. I noticed though that was what endeared
David to king Achish. Saint; you and I must let the world see Jesus through
us. “14 “You are the light of the
world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people
light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to
all in the house.” Matthew
5:14-15, ESV. Keep the first
thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post
the Feast again tomorrow.
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship.
Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept
Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day
and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the
Father only.” Matthew
24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything.
