Happy New Year Feast
Jesus Lord of All In 2016!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We
will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in
God’s Word in approximately three years.

“Therefore, if
anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold,
the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear
  Saints,

Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd
Samuel Chapter 18; “Absalom's army defeated. (1-8) He
  is slain. (9-18) David's
  over-sorrow. (19-33)
  - Matthew Henry Concise.

David stood at the side of
the gate, while his men defeated Absalom’s army. King David’s son is slain,
by Joab and his armor-bearers. Though God gave him victory in battle, because
of his sin, David’s wrought with sorrow over the death of Absalom. “32 The king said to the Cushite, “Is it well with the young man
Absalom?” And the Cushite answered, “May the enemies of my lord the king and
all who rise up against you for evil be like that young man.” 33 And the king
was deeply moved and went up to the chamber over the gate and wept. And as he
went, he said, “O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! Would I had died
instead of you, O Absalom, my son, my son!””
  2
Samuel 18:32-33, ESV. Sin really is like cancer, in that the destruction comes back to
persons unexpectedly at diverse times. Though David is king serving under
God’s protection, his sin has caused him to be disciplined for not raising
Absalom, with a godly upbringing.  Jesus
is our leader, we need to raise our children, to live and treat others with
that in mind.. Continue to follow Jesus, keeping the first thing first, that
is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “[Book
One The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked] Blessed is the man who walks not
in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in
the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his
law he meditates day and night.” Psalm
1:1-2, ESV. As you serve God avoid sin, making Jesus Lord of your life. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again
  tomorrow.

Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation
depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life
to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to
get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day
and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the
Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything.
