August 21, 2013 – Psalms 13-14

Today’s Feast

Psalms 13-14 Chapter 13 - “The psalmist complains that God had long withdrawn. He earnestly prays for comfort. He assures himself of an answer of peace.   Chapter 14 – “  A description of the depravity of human nature, and the deplorable corruption of a great part of mankind.”  - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 13-14.  Like the Psalmist there are times we feel alone, however in the end we trust in Jesus. “ 5 But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
    my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord,
    because he has dealt bountifully with me.- Psalms 12:7-8 “ - English Standard Version (ESV).   We learn throughout the word of God he loves and looks out for the believer.   We cannot do less than to share our hope with those in need.

When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. Psalm 94:18-19 ESV.

Our friend Jesus is calling out to us! (see John 15:13-15), listen can you hear him?  He won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Let me know if you have any questions or comments, in a reply or an email.

The Feast belongs to Jesus you may share it anywhere with any and all!
