Mon, Nov 15, 10- 1 Thessalonians 1 & 2

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in 1 Thessalonians 1 and 1Thessalonians 2! Dear Saints, I have hope that your weekend was blessed by our Lord.  The scripter we look to today is encouraging. In them we find life, contentment and love for all the Saints. God knows our situation and speaks to us through the Feast in his word. “We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” - 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 (New International Version).  Can anyone who knows us deny that Paul wrote this letter to us! God saved those of us who continue to Feast together and all who accepted Jesus, for his Glory.  “For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy”. - 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 (New International Version). Please remember this is true that we cannot be saved without (GRACE) Gods Riches At Christ’s Expense! It is the first thing that came for us first from Christ Jesus. “Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight.”- Psalm 119:143

Do you have something that needs to be said? You can reach me in an email: maito:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

I Thessalonians Overview

“This epistle is generally considered to have been the first of those written by St. Paul. The occasion seems to have been the good report of the stedfastness of the church at Thessalonica in the faith of the gospel. It is full of affection and confidence, and more consolatory and practical, and less doctrinal, than some of the other epistles.” - Matthew Henry Concise

The Feast

Nov. 15, 10 1 Thessalonians 1, “The faith, love, and patience of the Thessalonians, are evident tokens of their election which was manifested in the power with which the gospel came to them. (1-5) Its powerful and exemplary effects upon their hearts and lives. (6-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

and 1Thessalonians 2! “The apostle reminds the Thessalonians of his preaching and behaviour. (1-12) And of their receiving the gospel as the word of God. (13-16) His joy on their account. (17-20)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

God Bless you,

Brother Mike
