Love & Salvation! July 20, 2013 – Job 29 Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 29.  Job remembers the good old days and his contentment therein. The place of respect and honor Job held and his effectiveness. The vision of affluence in his former position. “24 I smiled on them when they had no confidence,     and the light of my face they did not cast down. 25 I chose their way and sat as chief,     and I lived like a king among his troops,     like one who comforts mourners.” Job 29:24-25 English Standard Version (ESV).   Job loved the Lord and didn’t understand that God was allowing his faith to be tested.  When our faith is tested we must cling to the Word of God.  Remember Jesus isn’t a magic genie whom we look to for treasure.  The bible is full of knowledge, wisdom and God’s love; it’s not a manual for extracting treasure from God. In the Word we find God’s Love and direction for our path.  “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”  1 John 1:7 ESV. Let our lights continue to shine and remember Jesus will never leave or forsake us.  “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 ESV.  Thank you Jesus for your love and our salvation. - Amen Do you hear him calling?  Sinner com home?
