Boast Not About Tomorrow

The Best of the Feast

Boast Not About Tomorrow

Please join us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

“17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of James Chapter 4; We are warned against pride  (James 4:1-6) and the love of the world.  We are instructed to be humble (James 4:7-10) and submit to the Lord. We are warned against (James 4:11-12) speaking evil of our fellow Saints. We are warned against even boasting against tomorrow “13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.” James 4:13-16 NKJV.  We who follow Jesus and read His Holy Word and do not do good, are without excuse; “17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 NKJV. Those who rebel and turn away from God (Matthew 13:14-15) will have their senses dulled until the judgment day. If the Lord is willing I will write and share the Feast tomorrow.

Can you still hear Jesus calling you? Are you ready to grow?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””; Joshua 24:15 NKJV.

God Bless you,
    Brother Mike
