Our Brother Robert has eye surgery has Friday, April 30, 2010. I pray that the Feast will please the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and by extension you. We have read;”we are ambassadors of Christ.” When we share we need to be cheerful givers of love, comfort and all kinds of sustenance. “9As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." 10Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.. “2nd Corinthians Chapter 9:9 - 11. Pray for his will to be done in your life; “Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God" - 2 Corinthians 7:1 (New International Version). Keep sharing God with others, in some you’ll find shy Saints and others (convicted by the Holy Spirit) hungry to hear about Jesus. If they reject the gift, offered by Jesus bid them good day and move to the next Pilgrim. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In 2 Corinthians 6. How blessed I feel to be sharing our faith with you! I think this chapter tells us how to live as we share our faith with the world; “14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ‘I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.’" - 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 (New International Version). We can and should share God with them, but we have no reason to live with or act as they do. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Ambassadors,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In 2 Corinthians 5. Did you have a blessed weekend? I think this book and chapter tells us why we are here and what our occupation is; “17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (New International Version). Sometimes I have heard people say;”I’m not as excited anymore, as I was when I first accepted Jesus as my savior.” I think that if a person stays on a steady diet of God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will excite them even more, than when they were first saved. Look here in today’s verses show us we are Christ's ambassadors! Here doing God’s bidding, so we might become the righteousness of God. Now how much more exciting than his calling us to be His Ambassadors be?

“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”- Hebrews 7:25 – New International Version.

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast; with four chapters in 2 Corinthians 1-4. Thank you all for Feasting and Praying with me, Bob is going in to the hospital for a stress test. Speaking of stress; "Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, "Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, 'In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me'? I tell you the truth; you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.” John 16:19-21 (New International Version). This says our stress will turn to joy in the Lord. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast Monday.

II Corinthians Overview

“The second epistle to the Corinthians probably was written about a year after the first. Its contents are closely connected with those of the former epistle. The manner in which the letter St. Paul formerly wrote had been received, is particularly noticed; this was such as to fill his heart with gratitude to God, who enabled him fully to discharge his duty towards them. Many had shown marks of repentance, and amended their conduct, but others still followed their false teachers; and as the apostle delayed his visit, from his unwillingness to treat them with severity, they charged him with levity and change of conduct. Also, with pride, vain-glory, and severity, and they spake of him with contempt. In this epistle we find the same ardent affection towards the disciples at Corinth, as in the former, the same zeal for the honour of the gospel, and the same boldness in giving Christian reproof. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In Nehemiah 13. We see God’s people marrying and being married to people of other beliefs. This caused strife and division among God’s people. Does the root of this problem raise its head today? “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” - 2 Corinthians 6:14 (New International Version). Why in fact it does! This is the way to approach Godly marriages today; Our God is not concerned with race like some may believe. He is concerned that if we get married with another belief our marriage will be contentious at best. If our Lord is willing I’ll send and post the feast again tomorrow.

We see God’s people approaching him with praise and thankfulness; “…Those who helped them stood across from them to sing praises and give thanks. One group would sing back to the other. That's what David, the man of God, had ordered.” - Nehemiah 12:24 (New International Reader's Version). This is the way to approach God today, which goes to show our Awesome God never changes. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In Nehemiah 11. People are chosen to represent each tribe in the Holy City Jerusalem; “Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities. And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.” - Nehemiah 11:1-2 (New International Reader's Version). This sounds like politics as we know them. God’s word tells us there is no power appointed over us except by him. If our Lord is willing I’ll send and post the feast again tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In Nehemiah 10. Today, we see the covenant, and those who signed It.; “All of the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They put themselves under a curse and took an oath. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all of the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.” - Nehemiah 10: 29 (New International Reader's Version). The day you asked Jesus to save you and you received him as Lord of your life. That is when you made a covenant and promised Jesus if he would forgive your sins and seal you with the Holy Spirit, which you would live with and for him. That is your covenant with God the Father.

“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.”- 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In Nehemiah 5. Two things to say today, tomorrow is my birthday, I would like a gift from you, pray for God to bless our countries, the second thing I would say is only God can deliver us from taxes and over spending; "We will give it back," they said. "And we will not demand anything more from them. We will do as you say." Then I summoned the priests and made the nobles and officials take an oath to do what they had promised. I also shook out the folds of my robe and said, "In this way may God shake out of his house and possessions every man who does not keep this promise. So may such a man be shaken out and emptied!" At this the whole assembly said, "Amen," and praised the LORD. And the people did as they had promised.” - Nehemiah 5:12-13 (New International Version) Pray about the taxes due tomorrow, that our leaders might use it to serve us as they promised when elected. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast; In Nehemiah 4. We had rain and high winds Sunday night! So a friend of mine had a joint fence blow down. He and the neighbor are at odds about how to fix it. What should he do, carry a shotgun in one hand and rebuild it with the other? I think Jesus would have a better offer; “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.” - Matthew 6:9 – 12 (Modern King James). Pray about it and go back to the neighbor with a compromise that will share Jesus’ love. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Ezra Chapter 8. Once again we see great men afraid to act out on faith. "For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him."- Ezra 8:22 (MKJV). We trust our God no matter what our situation. Being men we sometimes think we need to help God. Over and over I hear people say;”I didn’t know what else to do so I trusted God.” I think that’s what made God love King David so much, he always knew where to turn first and foremost when he needed help. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”- Romans 5:10

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Ezra Chapter 7. You know we are praying, reading Gods Word, guided by the Holy Spirit, ransomed by the Grace of Jesus. This is good however there are more actions you can and should take. Go to this link and prayerfully read the Baptist News or the Christian Examiner Hold the news up to the bible and if it rings true you may find something you want to take action on. Here is an excerpt from Jesus’ prayer for us and the Saints before and after us, until he comes for us. "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.”- John 17:15-17 (New International Version). We must live for our God no matter what our situation. Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Ezra Chapter 6. You know we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, ransomed by the Grace of Jesus. When we see another Saint, straying do we have any business trying to help rebuilding that temple of the Holy Spirit? "If your brother sins against you go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.”- Matthew 18:15-17 (New International Version). Ask yourself this; “Am I bound to help the back sliding Saint?” We must be or our God would not have given us such detailed instruction. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.”- 1 John 3:16. Let’s put out the welcome mat for those who need to renew their relationship with Jesus.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Ezra Chapter 5. . Did you have a good Easter weekend? If we follow him and do his will we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, ransomed by the Grace of Jesus. In today’s Feast we see the Holy Temple being rebuilt; we see that people take a report to the authorities. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (New International Version). Ask yourself this; “Would those who see you notice that you are a temple of the Holy Spirit?” Would anyone have enough evidence to convict you of being a Temple of The Holy Spirit? Have I been watching too much television? Lord willing I will send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”- 2 Corinthians 5:14-15. Let’s have a joyful day as we examine our relationship with Jesus. Happenstance can make you unhappy. Joy comes from the Lord and no one can take that away!

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Ezra Chapter 1 & Ezra Chapter 2 a double header on Friday. The Lord loves us Saint. If we follow him and do his will he will govern this earth by moving the hearts of Presidents, Kings and other leaders, for us. Remember this weekend you are the temple of the Holy Spirit, ransomed by the Grace of Jesus. “Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck. No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.”- Psalm 75:5-7 (Today's New International Version). Have a Blessed Easter for “He Has Risen”, God willing I will send and post the Feast again Monday.

“[Jesus Again Predicts His Death] Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law.
