Others or Ours?

Today’s Feast

Sep. 23, 2015 – Joshua 19

Others or Ours?

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,” Romans 5:3-4, English Standard Version (ESV)
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Joshua, Chapter 19; “The lot of Simeon. (1-9) The lot of Zebulun. (10-16) The lot of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Dan. (17-51)” – Matthew Henry Concise.
Joshua waited until all the others had their inheritance before he asked for his. “49 When they had finished distributing the several territories of the land as inheritances, the people of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. 50 By command of the Lord they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he rebuilt the city and settled in it.? ” Joshua 19:49-50, ESV. Though Joshua was now the leader and he could have demanded his inheritance first he waited until every one of his followers had theirs.  In God’s Word we learn that a Godly leader ministers to the needs of his followers; “12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. John 13:12-15, ESV. We must put the needs of others before ours if we are imitating Jesus.  Let’s keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.
I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
Is Jesus calling to you? Do you want to answer before God stops calling? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html
