(5-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise Psalms 142  “David's comfort in prayer)” - Matthew Henry Concise .” Return to Admenu - Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 141 and 142.  In Psalms 141 David is praying that his request will be acceptable to God.  He prays that the people will accept God’s rebukes and become complete in them. “9 Keep me from the trap that they have laid for me     and from the snares of evildoers! 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets,     while I pass by safely.”   Psalm 141:9-10  - English Standard Version (ESV).  The father that loves his children will teach them in God’s Word so they will grow stronger in their faith (see 2 Corinthians 6:14).  In Psalms 142  David praying that God would deliver guide and protect him as he hid from Saul in a cave. “7 Bring me out of prison,     that I may give thanks to your name! The righteous will surround me,     for you will deal bountifully with me.”   Psalm 142:7  - ESV.  When you are at odds with a person what could be the best course of action as a child of God (See Romans 12:20)?  Pray in Jesus name that the Holy Spirit will guide and comfort you.  “5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 ESV.  We can do all things in the name of Jesus because he is our strength. Lord Jesus we are wise to turn to you in all things! Hallelujah!
