Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 19. God requires more than one witness to a crime. Notice that God Sets a fair penalty for the false witness;“15 “A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established. 16 If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing, 17 then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the Lord, fore the priests and the judges who are in office in those days. 18 The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, 19 then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.” Deuteronomy 19:15-19, English Standard Version (ESV). See the Lord’s Word sets a penalty for false witness. How do we handle it when a brother or sister is doing wrong in our church? “15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.” Matthew 18:15-16 ESV. Our God is awesome he never changes the New Testament agrees with the old. The law is fulfilled in Jesus our Savior. “15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. 17 In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true. 18 I am the one who bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me.”” John 8:15 - 18 ESV. We endeavor to keep the first thing first. That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God, Jesus! “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,” Philippians 3:20 ESV. I send the Feast 5 days a week excluding holidays we read a chapter a day sometimes (if short) more the schedule is taken from a study bible. I am not a Theologian.
