  Whose Hand Do You Hold?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

22 Do they not go astray who devise evil? Those who devise good meet steadfast love and faithfulness.”  Proverbs 14:22, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1 Kings Chapter 18; “Elijah sends Ahab notice of his coming. (1-16) Elijah meets Ahab. (17-20) Elijah's trial of the false prophets. (21-40) Elijah, by prayer, obtains rain. (41-46)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we see that Elijah challenges the priests of Baal and proves to all of Israel that our God is the one true God!  Let’s look at the faith Elijah had in prayer.  He had to keep praying for rain.  He didn’t give up after one two or even six times.  The seventh time he prayed God gave him the sign.  “44 And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” And he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.’” 45 And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he gathered up his garment and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.1 Kings 18:44-46, ESV.   If God doesn’t answer you the first time you pray keep praying. Be like a child in the toy store begging his dad for a toy.  Don’t give up until you get an answer.  Then take the appropriate action like Elijah did!  No matter what God’s answer, be thankful for he always knows what’s best for His children; “26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:26-28, ESV.  Jesus makes us all one in his family, you and I are as important as Elijah to God. If you want something pray in Jesus name, know that he is going to answer and whatever the answer give God the glory.  Let’s keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus.  Remember as members of God’s family He wants the best for you and I.  We are his children!

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now; do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .
