We Have God’s Word!

Oct. 13, 2013 – Psalms 71

Psalms Chapter 71 - “Prayers that God would deliver and save. (1-13) Believing praises. (14-24)- Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 71. David calls on God with praise he asks God not to desert him when his strength is expended.  “23 My lips will shout for joy,
    when I sing praises to you;
    my soul also, which you have redeemed.”   Psalm 71:23 - English Standard Version (ESV).  We don’t need to ask God not to leave or forsake us.  He won’t! We have God’s Word for it (See. Hebrews 13:5).  This is why we read every word in God’s Word.  “ 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 ESV.  No one needs to say more! Hallelujah! Amen!
