Where Are You? Numbers 33

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3Mar15-NUM 33

May 23_2012umbers 33

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Numbers 33. Today we see a complete record of Israels journey to the promised land. God led them on this forty year journey. Sometimes their was plenty and others not so much. “9 And they set out from Marah and came to Elim; at Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there. 10 And they set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea. 11 And they set out from the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin. 12 And they set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah. 13 And they set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush. 14 And they set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.“ Numbers 33:9-14 English Standard Version (ESV). God set them free from the slavery in Egypt. We can look back and see why they remained in the wilderness for 40 years. Mainly because of not being thankful for being set free, they grumbled about the journey, and didn’t trust God. It’s easy to look back from where we sit with the Old Testament and see that they should have just been grateful for being set free from slavery. Think about this Saint, Jesus set you free from the slavery of sin! Sometimes we are on top of the mountain and it is easy for us to trust God. Sometimes we may have to got through the deep valleys and desert to get to the next oasis or mountain top. Then we may begin to grumble or think that God is mad at us. This is the time to add up the past blessings and thank God for them. This is the time to turn to God’s Word to nourish our soul. 4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 ESV. This is the time to build our faith and grow closer to God. “15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news! ”16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:15-17. Let’s keep the first thing first, Salvation from sin paid for by God in the blood of the Lamb. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Give him all your heart and all your love, for he alone is righteous. He promises that he will always be with you;”5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”” Hebrews 13:4-6 ESV. Remember this Saint, people are watching you to see how true Christians handle life. “ Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.” Romans 15:2 ESV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Do you know that you are going to be with God, if you die now? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com or if you want a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com
