Is God's Word Offensive?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Numbers Chapter 28; “Offerings, The daily sacrifice. (1-8) The offering on the sabbath and new moons. (9-15) Offerings at the passover, and on the day of first-fruits. (16-31)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today’s Feast reminds us that our God is always ready to forgive our sins. God is Just and doesn't forgive anyone on their terms! He loves us so much He sent His son Jesus to pay for our sin; “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16, ESV. He loves us so much that all He wants us to do is repent and accept Jesus as our Saviour; “16 And they sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are true and teach the way of God truthfully, and you do not care about anyone's opinion, for you are not swayed by appearances.” Matthew 22:16, ESV. I heard a man o the TV announce that he was an atheist and he said “I'm not afraid of dying and going to hell.” That's good because the wages of sin is death! Which law of God is hurtful or offensive? God's law only points out how sinful men are! God's Word tells us just what the reward for sin is as opposed to what Jesus did for us; “23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23, ESV. We can't brag about ourselves or claim that we are perfect in anyway our righteousness is in Jesus. “8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8 ESV. You can't blame Jesus for the woes of mankind Mr. Politician. No law made by man can excuse sin! No person can make our country great again. If only those who complain about the state of our country would turn to God in Jesus name; “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV. If any thing I said is offensive to you you better re-evaluate your life! Because God's Word and not mine is offending you! God made a way for every person and he doesn't want anyone to die in their sin; “9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 ESV. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” Matthew 24:36 ESV. Give The Glory To God!

Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Psalm 138:8 English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers Chapter 27; “The daughters of Zelophehad apply for an inheritance, The law of inheritances. (1-11) Moses warned of his death. (12-14) Joshua appointed to succeed Moses. (15-23)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today’s Feast reminds us that our God is is just. Remember when Aaron and Moses struck the rock three times to bring forth water for the people? We said that Moses would be punished not for striking the rock, but for taking God’s glory. Here it comes to pass; “12 The Lord said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim and see the land that I have given to the people of Israel. 13 When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was, 14 because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin when the congregation quarreled, failing to uphold me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.) ” Numbers 27:12-14, ESV. Whenever you ask God for a blessing for yourself or anyone else make sure you give God the glory. We know that we are in His dept for our very lives. Our sin dept is paid for in blood by Jesus, God’s only begotten son. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“ John 3:16 ESV. Keep the first thing first, Salvation from sin paid for by God in the blood of the Lamb. Give him all the glory for he alone is righteous. “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!” Romans 11:33 ESV.
