Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter42: “Jacob sends ten sons to buy corn. (1-6) Joseph's treatment of his brethren. (7-20) Their remorse, Simeon detained.(21-24)The rest return with corn. (25-28) Jacob refuses to send Benjamin to Egypt. (29-38) “ - Matthew Henry Concise As we continue our Feast in Genesis 42, we know they lied about Joseph (see Genesis 37:32-33) to their father. Now when they need their father to trust them, their original lie bites back; “38 But he said, “My son shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead, and he is left alone. If any calamity should befall him along the way in which you go, then you would bring down my gray hair with sorrow to the grave.”” Genesis 42:38 NKJV. God's Word tells us what sin brings to men; “23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ Romans 6:23 NKJV. Jesus Made every saint an ambassador for salvation in the name of Jesus; “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19 NKJV. The bottom line is share the love and the son of God whatever you're doing! It really is not about religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36.
