Today’s
Feast
No
Need To Worry?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“25
"Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked
on me, to take away my reproach among people.""
Luke
1:25
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis
Chapter
30;
“A
further account of Jacob's family. (1-13)
Rachel beareth Joseph. (14-24)
Jacob's new agreement with Laban to serve him for cattle. (25-43)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise
Let
us continue our Feast in
Genesis 30.
In this Scripture we see Laban more than willing to cheat Jacob;
“34
And Laban said, "Oh, that it were according to your word!"
35 So he removed that day the male goats that were speckled and
spotted, all the female goats that were speckled and spotted,
every one that had some white in it, and all the brown ones among
the lambs, and gave them into the hand of his sons. 36 Then he put
three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob fed the
rest of Laban's flocks.”
Genesis
30:34-36
NKJV.
Now
God makes a way for the oppressed to overcome the treachery of
dishonest people; “41
And it came to pass, whenever the stronger livestock conceived,
that Jacob placed the rods before the eyes of the livestock in the
gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. 42 But when the
flocks were feeble, he did not put them in; so the feebler were
Laban's and the stronger Jacob's.”
Genesis
30:41-42
NKJV. So do you think Jacob was sinning in the way he set up the
breeding? I think God gave him a way to overcome Laban’s
treachery. God takes care of his people, they will always overcome
treachery;”31
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They
shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be
weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah
40:31
NKJV.
Wait on the Lord Saint, he has our back. “4
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His
Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who
were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”
Galatians
4:4-5
NKJV
