Licensed to sin? – 2 Kings 14

Jan 30, 2013 - 2 Kings 14

Dear  Saints,

Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 14.  Our God the Great IM never changes. When we read today’s feast we once again see God’s faithfulness and mercy.     “26 For the Lord saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter, for there was none left, bond or free, and there was none to help Israel. 27 But the Lord had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.“ 2nd Kings 14:26-27 English - Standard Version (ESV).  God is true to His people, Jesus promised he would never leave nor forsake us. So is this our license to sin?  “1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV.  We are saved, we are children of God!  We know God does not tolerate sin or liars in the kingdom of heaven.  Walk in truth and love like Jesus.  Ask yourself what would Jesus really do, before you commit to any action or word.  Walking in love keeping the first thing first, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus.  Let your life be a light in a world filled with darkness.  Our God is always true to His word.
