June 30, 2010 Eph 1

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Ephesians 1. It is a chapter that explains our induction into the Lords Army! We should be ready to accept and encourage anyone we know, or meet in grace and love to join in our salvation. “11In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory.” – Ephesians 1:11 - 14 New International Version. We are justified, certified and made whole, heirs of his kingdom because Jesus loved us while we were still sinners. Please let me know how you feel in an email to me
mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.” - Zechariah 14:9 - New International Version.

EPHESIANS OVERVIEW
“This epistle was written when St. Paul was a prisoner at Rome. The design appears to be to strengthen the Ephesians in the faith of Christ, and to give exalted views of the love of God, and of the dignity and excellence of Christ, fortifying their minds against the scandal of the cross. He shows that they were saved by grace, and that however wretched they once were, they now had equal privileges with the Jews. He encourages them to persevere in their Christian calling, and urges them to walk in a manner becoming their profession, faithfully discharging the general and common duties of religion, and the special duties of particular relations.” - Matthew Henry Concise

Did you pray to accept Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes you need fellowship. If you want to correspond with an ordained minister, Pastor Glen would love to hear from you mailto:evangelistglen@yahoo.com. Go to the forums at http://www.forthecross.com/ where you can request prayer, talk religion or general chat about life.

THE FEAST

29 June 2010 Ephesians 1 “A salutation, and an account of saving blessings, as prepared in God's eternal election, as purchased by Christ's blood. (1-8) And as conveyed in effectual calling: this is applied to the believing Jews, and to the believing Gentiles. (9-14) The apostle thanks God for their faith and love, and prays for the continuance of their knowledge and hope, with respect to the heavenly inheritance, and to God's powerful working in them. (15-23)” - Matthew Henry Concise

June 28, 2010-Gal 4

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Gal 4.  Did you enjoy a blessed weekend with God?  Today’s feast sings to me it makes me think our relationship with God; “1What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. 2He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. 3So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. 4But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. 6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba,[a] Father." 7So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.” – Galatians 4:1-7 - New International Version.  Because of Jesus we are justified, certified and made whole, heirs of his kingdom.   Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com.  If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”- 2 Peter 3:9

June 25-27-2010 – Gal 1-3

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully begin our Feast in Gal 1 -3. Have a good weekend Go with God, our King, who paid the price for us; “3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”– Gal 1:3 - 5 (New International Version). He is the only one who knows our destiny. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast Monday.

“Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?" declares the LORD. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" declares the LORD.”- Jeremiah 23:24 – New International Version.

Galatians an Overview

The churches in Galatia were formed partly of converted Jews, and partly of Gentile converts, as was generally the case. St. Paul asserts his apostolic character and the doctrines he taught, that he might confirm the Galatian churches in the faith of Christ, especially with respect to the important point of justification by faith alone. Thus the subject is mainly the same as that which is discussed in the epistle to the Romans, that is, justification by faith alone. In this epistle, however, attention is particularly directed to the point, that men are justified by faith without the works of the law of Moses. Of the importance of the doctrines prominently set forth in this epistle, Luther thus speaks: "We have to fear as the greatest and nearest danger, lest Satan take from us this doctrine of faith, and bring into the church again the doctrine of works and of men's traditions. Wherefore it is very necessary that this doctrine be kept in continual practice and public exercise, both of reading and hearing. If this doctrine be lost, then is also the doctrine of truth, life and salvation, lost and gone." - Matthew Henry Concise

If you want to know Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  It really is not about “religion”, it is about a relationship. Just follow this link; http://www.admenu.com/am/JesusMission.html I'm ready.  God wants to share your love.

The Feast

25 June 2010 Gal 1, “The apostle Paul asserts his apostolic character against such as lessened it. (1-5) He reproves the Galatians for revolting from the gospel of Christ under the influence of evil teachers. (6-9) He proves the Divine authority of his doctrine and mission; and declares what he was before his conversion and calling. (10-14) And how he proceeded after it. (15-24)” - Matthew Henry Concise

26 Jun 2010 Gal 2, “The apostle declares his being owned as an apostle of the Gentiles. (1-10) He had publicly opposed Peter for judaizing. (11-14) And from thence he enters upon the doctrine of justification by faith in Christ, without the works of the law. (15-21)” - Matthew Henry Concise

27 Jun 2010 Gal 3, The Galatians reproved for departing from the great doctrine of justification alone, through faith in Christ. (1-5) This doctrine established from the example of Abraham. (6-9) From the tenor of the law and the severity of its curse. (10-14) From the covenant of promises, which the law could not disannul. (15-18) The law was a school master to lead them to Christ. (19-25) Under the gospel state true believers are all one in Christ. (26-29) - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in ending in Job 42.  We see Job surrendering to God, praying for his friends.  Then God restored everything to Job, including long life.  I BELIEVE Saints (You and I) everywhere need to follow his example. “10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.  Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. “- Isaiah 43:10 & 11 (New International Version).  Our awesome God says you are needed to pray (see 2nd Chronicles 7:14) if we want God to move for us.  Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com.  If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

clip_image002

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 40. Did you enjoy Jobs interaction with God? Today’s feast sings to me makes me think of death then judgment. “6 Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm: 7 "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. 8 "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself? 9 Do you have an arm like God's, and can your voice thunder like his?” Job 40:6-9 - New International Version. The Word of God sings, of Salvation from our sins and justice for the Ungodly; “5All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power” 2 Thessalonians 1:5–9 -- New International Version. I believe that we will stand braced like a man because of Jesus! Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

June 21, 2010-Job 39

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 39. Did you have a good weekend? Men try to try to understand the mind of God. My granddaughter aske d if there was doing to be animals in heaven. I told her that I wasn’t sure but by what we see hear in Job 38 I’m convinced there may be. “38 when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together? 39 "Do you hunt the prey for the lioness and satisfy the hunger of the lions 40 when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in a thicket? 41 Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?” – Job 38 Verses 38-41” - New International Version. Again we better off leaning on the Word of God. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

June 18-20-2010 - Job 36-38

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 36 - 38. Have a good weekend Go with God, he laid down his life for us while we were still sinners; “9 he tells them what they have done that they have sinned arrogantly. 10 He makes them listen to correction and commands them to repent of their evil. 11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment. 12 But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.”– Job 36:9-12 - (New International Version). If these scriptures ring true then we must agree our awesome God never changes. God alone knows when he will call us home. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast Monday.

June 17, 2010-Job 35

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 35. Men try to try to understand the mind of God. God who is righteous gave up his son Jesus Christ for our redemption. “Verses 9-13 Job complained that God did not regard the cries of the oppressed against their oppressors. This he knew not how to reconcile the justice of God and his government. Elihu solves the difficulty. Men do not notice the mercies they enjoy in and under their afflictions, nor are thankful for them, therefore they cannot expect that God should deliver them out of affliction. He gives songs in the night; when our condition is dark and melancholy, there is that in God's providence and promise, which is sufficient to support us, and to enable us even to rejoice in tribulation. When we only pore upon our afflictions, and neglect the consolations of God which are treasured up for us, it is just in God to reject our prayers. Even the things that will kill the body, cannot hurt the soul. If we cry to God for the removal of an affliction, and it is not removed, the reason is, not because the Lord's hand is shortened, or his ear heavy; but because we are not sufficiently humbled.” – Job 35 Verses 9-13” - Matthew Henry Concise. We shouldn’t lean on our own understanding but rather on the Word of God. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds — his name is the LORD— and rejoice before him. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”- Psalm 68:4-5

If you want to know Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  It really is not about “religion”, it is about a relationship. June 16, 2010-Job 34

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 34. Men try to be righteous in themselves, they won’t succeed. He who is righteous gave up his blood for our redemption so we could be righteous in his name; “12 It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice. 13 Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world? 14 If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit [a] and breath, 15 all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust.” - Job 34:12-15 (New International Version). Righteousness is found only in the Lord, it is assigned to us by the grace of God. We would all do good to remember this when dealing with others. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

June 15, 2010-Job 33

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 33. Whoa partner, Saints, today in our Feast we see that God never changes; “25 then his flesh is renewed like a child's it is restored as in the days of his youth 26 He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state. 27 Then he comes to men and says, ‘I sinned, and perverted what was right, but I did not get what I deserved. 28 He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit, and I will live to enjoy the light.' 29 "God does all these things to a man” - Job 33:25-29 (New International Version). We who are covered by the righteousness of Jesus. Given to us by the Grace of our Savior and Lord Jesus. We will not get what we deserve. Do you see the evidence here that screams God never changes? Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

June 14, 2010-Job 32

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 32. I hope you all had a good weekend. Men try to be righteous, they mess the mark. Mankind can only be justified (just as I never sinned) by Jesus. He who is righteous gave up his blood for our redemption so we could be righteous in his name; “1 So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. 2 But Elihu son of Barakel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, became very angry with Job for justifying himself rather than God.” - Job 38:1 & 2 (New International Version). Righteousness is so precious that we cannot buy at any price, we do have it ascribed to us by the Grace (God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense) of our Savior and Lord Jesus. Remember this as you read today’s study. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,”- Philippians 3:20

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 29-31. Here we see Job looking back at the “good ole daze”, Even if our circumstances change remember God never changes. “2 "How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me, 3 when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness!”– Job 29:2-3 - (New International Version). Keep your eyes on Jesus. Have a blessed weekend! My email is: mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast Monday.

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”- Psalm 46:10 – New International Version.

If you want to know Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. It really is not about “religion”, it is about a relationship. Just follow this link;

June 10, 2010-Job 28

June 10, 2010-Job 28

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 28. What do these scriptures speak of to us. What is it that God alone holds for us; “13 Man does not comprehend its worth; it cannot be found in the land of the living. 14 The deep says, 'It is not in me'; the sea says, 'It is not with me.'15 It cannot be bought with the finest gold, nor can its price be weighed in silver. 16 It cannot be bought with the gold of Ophir, with precious onyx or sapphires. 17 Neither gold nor crystal can compare with it, nor can it be had for jewels of gold.” - Job 28:13-17 (New International Version). What is it that is so precious that we cannot buy at any price? God includes it in today’s Feast, so we not only gain knowledge but a measure of it in the Word. Please let me know how you feel in an email mailto:mlitew8@yahoo.com. If God is willing I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”- Colossians 3:13
