Doers Of The Law

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 14; ‘The battle of the kings, Lot is taken prisoner. (1-12) Abram rescues Lot. (13-16) Melchizedek blesses Abram. (17-20) Abram restores the spoil. (21-24)” - Matthew Henry Concise Here we see Abram keeps his vow to God; “22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that I will take nothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’— 24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.”” Genesis 14:22-24 NKJV. You and I should strive to live godly lives! “5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”  Ephesians 5:1-2 ESV. There is nothing in this world that can (see Romans 8:39)  separate us from the Lord Jesus Christ!  “13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified.” Romans 2:13 NKJV Will you accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word.
