Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully read, Acts 14. Paul and Barnabas at speaking clearly at Iconium convert a great many Jews and Gentiles. Paul and Barnabas address a cripple and he is healed at Lystra, The people would have sacrificed to Paul and Barnabas, but they declared they were men like them. Because of the deep seae corruption, the people Paul stoned at Lystra, Paul is healed, he and Barnabas visit the churches again. “24 Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia. 25 And when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia, 26 and from there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they had fulfilled. 27 And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. 28 And they remained no little time with the disciples.” Acts 14:24-28, English Standard Version (ESV). Paul and Barnabas were quick to give the glory to God for the cripples healing. The rewards of serving Jesus and being sealed by the Holy Spirit are sufficient in themselves. “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:5,8 ESV. Could do no good in true love without Jesus. That is why we keepthe first thing first, that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. What is done in Jesus name truly glorifies God!.
