Word Power!

Today's Feast

July 31, 2015 – Deuteronomy 23

Word Power!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.Matthew 5:14, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter 23; “Who are shut out from the congregation. (1-8) Cleanliness enjoined. (15-25) Of fugitive servants, Usury, and other precepts. (9-14)" - Matthew Henry Concise.

Do you ever ponder the power of your word. If you do not plan on keeping a vow it’s simple, do not make the vow. “21 If you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay fulfilling it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and you will be guilty of sin. 22But if you refrain from vowing, you will not be guilty of sin. 23 You shall be careful to do what has passed your lips, for you have voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God what you have promised with your mouth.Deuteronomy 23:21-23, ESV. When we say we will do something we are responsible for doing it. “35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 forby your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”Matthew 12:35-37 ESV. Our God is awesome he never changes the New Testament agrees with the old. God’s Word is true and faithful, he expects our word to mean what we say. Never lie let your yes be yes and your no be no. Try to value your word as much as God does. “3 What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? 4 By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written,That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” 5 But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us? I speak in a human way.)Romans 3:3-5 ESV. We endeavor to keep the first thing first. That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God, Jesus! “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.Ephesians 6:4 ESV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything;

God Bless You,
Brother Mike
