   17-19_2012 Judges 1-3
Dear
    Saints,
This
weekend we prayerfully read our Feast in Judges
   1-3.
We see a theme in the first three books of Judges. The
Israelites turn their back on God! Life get's bad then they turn
back to God. God forgives them and sends them a champion known as
   a Judge. “15
Then the people of Israel cried out to the Lord, and the Lord
raised up for them a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Gera, the
Benjaminite, a left-handed man. The people of Israel sent tribute
by him to Eglon the king of Moab. ”
Judges 315 English Standard Version (ESV). I think I've
mentioned this before God never changes! “5
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what
you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake
   you.”
   Hebrews
   13:5
(ESV). So have you thought about what that means to us? We were
dead in sin, we reached out and received God's Son and were saved
from sin. So what does that mean when we slip back into sin? “If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“
   1
   John 1:9
(ESV). Don't let that old accuser hold you down in sin. The
sooner you repent and confess your sin to Jesus, the sooner
you'll be back in the fold serving God. That is what it is all
about, being full of love and light. ““Let
the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one
who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord
   commends.”
   2 Corinthians 10:17-18 ESV

Have
a good weekend Saints. My brother is coming to California this
weekend. That means my son and daughter and grandchildren will
also be here. Praise Jesus it's going to be a great weekend!
   Keep
the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of
   Jesus.

Judges
an overview; “The book of Judges is the history of Israel during
the government of the Judges, who were occasional deliverers,
raised up by God to rescue Israel from their oppressors, to reform
the state of religion, and to administer justice to the people.
The state of God's people does not appear in this book so
prosperous, nor their character so religious, as might have been
expected; but there were many believers among them, and the
tabernacle service was attended to. The history exemplifies the
frequent warnings and predictions of Moses, and should have close
attention. The whole is full of important instruction.” Matthew
   Henry's Consice

   Feast

Would
you like a more abundant life”? Do you know that God has a plan
that includes a personal relationship with you? You are an eternal
being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with
God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this
   simple prayer; “Dear
God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus
   Christ shed His precious
   blood and
died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite
Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“
If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now
turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship
and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to
measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of
believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends
completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his
life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin)
and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible
believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll
see if I can help; mlitew8@yahoo.com
