Sep 11_2012 John 5
Dear Saints,
Today we in memory of September 11, 2001, prayerfully Feast in John 5. Who is this Jesus that we should worship him? He said it himself he is worthy of our praise, because he is equal with God. “18 This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.” John 5:18, English Standard Version (ESV). We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life. This is why he alone could pay for the sins of all mankind. When you look at any sinner remember God is not willing that any should perish. Remember we were saved not because of anything we did for we were all dead in sin. Now that we have salvation we don't need to point out peoples sin, rather we point out the love of God. “ 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. 22 The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” John 5:21-24 ESV. Just as God loves us and delivers us from slavery in sin to freedom in Christ Jesus, we are to carry his message to the world. We know how much God loves every single person, no matter what their station in life, in the world. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”” John 3:16-21 ESV. We carry the light into a dark world. It is our job to testify to a lost world, the love of God. When you feel overwhelmed turn to our God. He will show you what to do, how, to testify and what to say. “[My Help Comes from the LORD] A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 ESV We are carrying his light keeping the first thing first! That is salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
God Bless you,
Brother Mike
