7th Year 11-12 Edition 3Mar15-NUM 32 l The Feast l May 22_2012 Numbers 32 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Numbers 32. Today we see an example of people who start out with God but yet they are not willing to go the distance.. “6 But Moses said to the people of Gad and to the people of Reuben, “Shall your brothers go to the war while you sit here? 7 Why will you discourage the heart of the people of Israel from going over into the land that the Lord has given them? 8 Your fathers did this,when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land. 9 For when they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the people of Israel from going into the land that the Lord had given them. 10 And the Lord's anger was kindled on that day, and he swore, saying, 11 ‘Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt,from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they have not wholly followed me, “ Numbers 31;48 English Standard Version (ESV). Not only does our Lord keep track of every saint that asks for freedom, he also watches to see them go the distance. “Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit forthe kingdom of God.” Luke 9:61 ESV. Let’s keep the first thing first, Salvation from sin paid for by God in the blood of the Lamb. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Give him all your heart and all your love, for he alone is righteous. He alone made it possible for us to enter into his rest. “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13 ESV I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me.
