The Best of the Feast
Dressed For
Victory!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
“25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will
stand upon the earth.” Job
19:25, English Standard Version (ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read our Feast in Romans, Chapter 8; “The freedom of believers from condemnation. (1-9) Their privileges as being the children of God. (10-17) Their hopeful prospects under tribulations. (18-25) Their assistance from the Spirit in prayer. (26,27) Their interest in the love of God. (28-31) Their final triumph, through Christ. (32-39)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 8. Saints
we are among the believers who are separated in Jesus from condemnation. We
share in the privileges as the children of God through Jesus. That
is we who know Jesus and have faith in Him. We have hope through Jesus when
under attacks of the world. The Holy Spirit gives us peace
and guides us in prayer. The love of God is in our interest as we serve
Jesus. We hold on to the promise that through Christ we will have
victory over worldly things. “37 No, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For
I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things
present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height
nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us
from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ”
Romans
8:37-39, ESV. Not only do we have faith in Jesus we rejoice in
the power of His might. God prepares us for whatever duty He gives
us! “ 10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of
Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom
God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. 11 This
Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which
has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in
no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men
by which we must be saved.”” Acts
4:10-12, ESV. Our Lord died so that we would have victory over
whatever the world challenges us with. God dresses us and the Holy
Spirit supports us for victory in Jesus (see 1
Thessalonians 5:7-9, ESV). In God’s army we are clothed in
God’s armor. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast
again tomorrow.
God
Bless You,
Brother
Mike
