The Best of the Feast
Mar 11, 2017 – Proverbs 26
Where Wise Actions May Lead?
“For we also
have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they
heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it
with faith.” Hebrews 4:2 NKJV
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen
minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately
three years.
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast
reading proverbs Chapter
26.
In today’s Feast we are examining the
consequences of foolish behavior. “27
Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it
roll back on him. 28 A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a
flattering mouth works ruin.” Proverbs
26:27-28 (New King James Version (NKJV). Gospel is true
and faithful in describing the consequences or rewards for any action (see Romans
6:23) people may take. The condition of the foundation we
build our faith on (see Matthew
7:24-27) will determine our success or failure. “6 Brethren, if a man is overtaken
in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in
a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.” Galatians
6:1 NKJV. It is easy to get caught up in the “glory” of
our sinful past or “the good old days” (see James 1:13-18) It is wiser
and more pleasurable to give glory to God (see Romans
8:38-39) who gives us a new life. By giving all glory to
Jesus you may lead a soul to accept Jesus and therefore salvation. If the
Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
Listen! Can
you hear Jesus calling you? Are you tempted to answer the call? Do
you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If
the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s Verse; “Therefore know that
the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy
for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;”
Deuteronomy
7:9 NKJV.
God Bless You,
Brother Mike
