Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Nehemiah 3; Every Israelite lent a hand toward the building up of the walls of Jerusalem. The work was equally divided, so that everyone knew what do, and they did it, with a will to do their best work without conflict, or strife. The wall was rebuilt for the public good in God’s name.  “1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the Sheep Gate. They consecrated it and set its doors. They consecrated it as far as the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Tower of Hananel.… 32 And between the upper chamber of the corner and the Sheep Gate the goldsmiths and the merchants repaired.”  Nehemiah 3:1…32, English Standard Version (ESV).  When we do any ministry or function in the Church, at home or at work we are called upon to do our best.   As a member of the community and in the body of Christ each of us must strive to function always doing our best for Jesus; “2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.Romans 5:2-5, ESV.  No matter what we are doing we are working for Jesus and not to please men. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
