Does the love of God abide?

Does the love of God abide?     May 11, 2013 – 1 Corinthians 16       Return to Admenu Home   Admenu’s Alternate Site           Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 16 .  Paul encourages the Corinthians to support the needy.   Timothy and Apollos are not to be hindered in their ministries.  Paul say’s to be steadfast in faith and love. Guard against those who do not walk in the love of God; “22 If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come! 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. 24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.” 1 Corinthians 16:58 English Standard Version (ESV).  Early on in this chapter he encourages the Saints to be strong in the Lord.  Paul is asking the Corinthians to have compassion for those in need.  Those who are wealthy in the Lord need to be charitable in their actions.  “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 ESV.  We will be known for our actions.  If we are charitable, forgiving and loving with our brothers and sisters we are walking with Jesus.  Help each other show the same grace Jesus gave us in our dealings with others.  We should let the light of God shine in every area of our lives.  If God is willing we will Feast in the book of Ezra tomorrow.     Is Jesus is calling out to you?  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil?
