Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Esther 1 . One of the reasons we want to read every Word in the bible is so we can be just workers, A Workman Approved by God. “14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17Their teaching will spread like gangrene.” - 2 Timothy 2:14 -17 (New International Version).

Esther an overview- “We find in this book, that even those Jews who were scattered in the province of the heathen, were taken care of, and were wonderfully preserved, when threatened with destruction. Though the name of God be not in this book, the finger of God is shown by minute events for the bringing about his people's deliverance. This history comes in between (EZRA 6 and Ezra 7).” – Henrys Concise Commentary
