Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hosea  Chapter 9; “The distress to come upon Israel. (1-6) The approach of the day of trouble. (7-10) Judgments on Israel. (11-17) - Matthew Henry Concise
Don’t celebrate Israel the Lord will punish you (Hosea 9:1-6) because you neglected God and chased idols.  There was a time when Israel loved God (Hosea 9:7-10) now they are detestable because they worship idols.  The Lord God will depart from them, (Hosea 9:11-17) and their land will dry up; “17 My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations.Hosea 9:17 English Standard Versions (ESV).  You may ask what is it the Lord God expects from us (see Matthew 22:37) only that we should love and honor Him with our whole being; And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, Philippians 1:9-10 ESV.  The Lord has begun a good work in us Saints (see Philippians 1:6) the Holy Spirit will guide us through to completion.  The world may hate us because of our faith, (see 1 Corinthians 15:58) but we will stand firm and be rewarded on the day of judgment.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hosea Chapter 8; “Destruction threatened for the impiety of Israel. (1-4) For their idolatry. (5-10) Further threatenings for the same sins. (11-14) - Matthew Henry Concise
When Israel fell on hard times they cried; “LORD hear us!” (Hosea 8:1-4) however, because they neglected God and chased idols when times were good God did not answer them.  They turned to false religious practices, their god was mad by a craftsman (Hosea 8:5-10) their idol the false god cannot redeem them.  When God didn’t answer them they  added more altars to take away sin, (Hosea 8:11-14) so the one true God will not help them; “14 For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces, and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; so I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour her strongholds.Hosea 8:14 English Standard Versions (ESV).  We must ask ourselves do we really love God.  Is our treasure laid up in heaven (see 1 John 1:6) or do we build our treasure in this world; “20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God." John 3:20-21 ESV.  Pay close attention to what seeds you sew (see John 10:10) your very future is depending on it.  The same goes for what treasures (see Matthew 6:19-21) you pursue and save.  There are only two choices we can make, one is true the other is false (see Matthew 6:24) one you will love and the other you will hate.
Jesus is calling; (see Revelation 3:20) can you hear Jesus calling you?  Do you want to answer Him? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

Infidelity & Divine Retribution

9 for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.”  John 20:9
clip_image004
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hosea Chapter 6: “An exhortation to repentance. (1-3) Israel's instability and breach of the covenant. (4-11)
Chapter 7: The manifold sins of Israel. (1-7) Their senselessness and hypocrisy. (8-16) - Matthew Henry Concise.
Because Israel and Judah are unrepentant; (Hosea 6:1) Hosea prophesies their destruction; “10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; Ephraim's whoredom is there; Israel is defiled. 11 For you also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed, when I restore the fortunes of my people.”  Hosea 6:10-11.  Once More God has announced judgments against the Israelites (Hosea 7:1-10) because they won’t return to the Lord their God; “15 Although I trained and strengthened their arms, yet they devise evil against me. 16 They return, but not upward; they are like a treacherous bow; their princes shall fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongue. This shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.Hosea 7:15-16 English Standard Versions (ESV).  Even today there are those whose deeds cause them to be offended by the Word of God; (see Proverbs 26:11) so instead of turning to Jesus for forgiveness they criticize or deny God.  In order to understand Gods Word they must first accept Jesus; “14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14 ESV.  It is not enough to know who Jesus is (see James 2:19) to attain perfect spiritual awareness one must first know Jesus.
Today, now is the day of your salvation Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm
