Jan. 14, 2014 – Proverbs 16
Does God Love Sinners?

Iniquity is compensated for by steadfast love and faithfulness.

Proverbs 16  Verse 1. The renewing grace of God alone prepares the heart for every good work. This teaches us that we are not sufficient of ourselves to think or speak any thing wise and good..  Verse 33. All the disposal of Providence concerning our affairs, we must look upon to be the determining what we referred to God; and we must be reconciled to them accordingly. Blessed are those that give themselves up to the will of God; for he knows what is good for them.” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 16.

God’s love is demonstrated in His decision to patiently love us.  “31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.  32 Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.  33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.Proverbs 16:31-33 (English Standard Version) ESV.  God is love and therefor cannot be pleased without love for each other (see 1 John 4:7-9).  Whoever is without love for their brother doesn’t know Jesus (see 1 John 3:16-18).  God’s love is demonstrated in our love for each other: “20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.1 John 4:20-21  ESV. The greatest commandment is summed up in our love for each other (see mark 12:31).  The answer to the question (Does God Love Sinners?) can be summed up in one verse; John 3:16.

Can you hear Jesus calling you? Do you seek true love?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.2 Corinthians 5:19-20  ESV.
