Is There Hope Without Jesus?

Is There Hope Without Jesus?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.Romans 12:12, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in Romans, Chapter 3; “Objections answered. (1-8) All mankind are sinners. (9-18) Both Jews and Gentiles cannot be justified by their own deeds. (19,20) It is owing to the free grace of God, through faith in the righteousness of Christ, yet the law is not done away. (21-31)” -  Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Romans 3.  The question posed here in verses nineteen and twenty is; “can I be saved by following the law?”  I believe salvation is not possible without our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.   “19 Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. 20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.Romans 3:19-20, ESV.  The law cannot save us!  We cannot do away with the law, It simply points to what we must or must not do.  We are justified by and our righteousness is in Jesus.  In other words there is no justification or salvation to be found in the law.  “15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,1 Peter 3:15, ESV.  We honor Jesus, because he is the savior.  There is no law or person other than Jesus that can pay for our sins.  It is a privilege to share Jesus with those who don’t know Him. Those that have accepted Jesus are in a relationship with Him.  We share his love with others gently and respectively, knowing that there is no peace without salvation.  There is no hope without Jesus!  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

 God Bless You,
Brother Mike
