Today's
Feast
June
22,
2015 – Numbers 20
Why
Give
It To God?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“7
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your
soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.”
Psalm
121:7-8
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Numbers Chapter
20;
“The
people come to Zin, They murmur for water, Moses directed to smite
the rock, The infirmity of Moses and Aaron. (1-13)
The Israelites are refused a passage through Edom. (14-21)
Aaron reigns the priest's office to Eleazar, and dies in mount
Hor. (22-29)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today’s
Feast reminds us how easy it is for a believer to take credit for
God’s blessings. God told Moses how to deliver water to his
people. “6
So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the
door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces.
And the glory of the Lord appeared to them. 7 Then the Lord spoke
to Moses, saying, 8 "Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron
gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their
eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for
them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their
animals."”
Numbers
20:6-8,
NKJV. Then Moses and Aaron assembled the people and smote the rock
twice and it gave abundant water. “10
And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the
rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must
we
bring water for you out of this rock?" 11 Then Moses lifted
his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came
out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.”
Numbers
20:10-11
NKJV. I have heard it said that because Moses struck the rock
rather than told it to deliver water, that is what angered God.
I'm
here to tell you; that’s
not what angered our awesome Father. They said to the people that
they were delivering water. They should have given praise to God
for the water. When you go to God and ask for anything and you
receive it be careful to give God all the Glory. “1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ
Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to
the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans
8:1-2
NKJV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me.
If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
Is
Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call?
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a
relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the
Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin,
when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint;
“36
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels
of heaven, but My Father only.”
Matthew
24:36
NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything. If the answer is yes
to any of these questions please click the following link;
