(18-20)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 5.  When we call on God he knows our hearts, so avoid vain repetitions.  We must examine our hearts before we make a vow.  Whatever task our Lord has assigned to us will be counted as joy when we do it to the glory of God.  “19 Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.“   Ecclesiastes 5:19-20  English Standard Version (ESV).   We have no need to be anxious for anything (See Matthew 6:25) while we are following Jesus.  "O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
