A Heart Condition?

Today’s Feast

A Heart Condition?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. Matthew 15:18 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Leviticus Chapter 1; "
God ordained divers kinds of oblations and sacrifices, to assure his people of the forgiveness of their offences, if they offered them in true faith and obedience. Also he appointed the priests and Levites, their apparel, offices, conduct, and portion. He showed what feasts they should observe, and at what times. He declared by these sacrifices and ceremonies, that the reward of sin is death, and that without the blood of Christ, the innocent Lamb of God, there can be no forgiveness of sins.

The offerings. (1,2) From the herds. (3-9) From the flocks, and of fowls. (10-17)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

In today’s Feast In Leviticus God shows his people what sacrifices to make and how to perform them to be in order for them to be acceptable by God; “1 Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying, 2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of the livestock--of the herd and of the flock.Leviticus 1:1-2, NKJV. One man sinned against God that was Adam and brought sin (Romans 5:12) into our world. After that sin becomes part of man’s nature, there are no perfect men. So herein lies the problem, God cannot tolerate sin so man with his sin nature (Proverbs 15:28) is separated from God. So God teaches man how to make sacrifices for his sin. Man goes out and gets that perfect lamb from his sheep throws it in the back of the car. He drives to the tabernacle. He gives his lamb to one of Aaron’s boys to be sacrificed. The sacrifice is done he gets in his car to drive home. Before he gets out of the parking lot another guy at the exit of the tabernacle parking lot, is already sinning. The sign clearly says “Right Turn Only“ the guy has his left signal on and is holding everyone up while he waits to make an illegal left turn. So the man (who just sacrificed his perfect lamb) rolls down his (Matthew 5:22) window and yells; “Hey fool can’t you read? The sign says “Right Turn Only, can’t you wait to get out of the parking lot to sin?“ You can see where I’m going here mans sin nature is out of control. Man’s hearts are (it’s in the book Genesis 6:5) continually evil. God came up with the only possible solution. “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16 NKJV. Only Jesus can cure your “Heart Condition”. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again this tomorrow.
