Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We
will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in
God’s Word in approximately three years.
“And he sat down
and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he
must be last of all and servant of all.”” Mark 9:35, English Standard Version (ESV)
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts Chapter 21; “Paul's voyage towards Jerusalem. (1-7) Paul
at Cesarea. The prophecy of Agabus, Paul at Jerusalem. (8-18) He
is persuaded to join in ceremonial observances. (19-26) Being
in danger from the Jews, he is rescued by the Romans. (27-40)”
- Matthew Henry
Concise.
As Paul’s voyage moves towards Jerusalem the disciples, were
telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. Paul stays with Philip the
evangelist, at Cesarea. The prophecy of Agabus, see’s Paul at Jerusalem being
bound with his own belt and delivered to the Gentiles. He is persuaded to
join in purification ceremonies. Being in danger from the Jews, as a citizen
of Rome, he is rescued by the Romans. Then we are left with a cliff hanger. ”37
As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he said to the tribune,
“May I say something to you?” And he said, “Do you know Greek? 38 Are you not
the Egyptian, then, who recently stirred up a revolt and led the four
thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?” 39 Paul replied, “I
am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no obscure city. I beg you,
permit me to speak to the people.” 40 And when he had given him permission,
Paul, standing on the steps, motioned with his hand to the people. And when
there was a great hush, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying:”
Acts
21:37-40, ESV. What was Paul speaking of in Hebrew? When I was a child
they had Saturday matinees that ended with the hero or heroine in peril. You
wouldn’t know what happens until the next week. Hence a cliff hanger.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit will, let you know when to end a testimony with a
question unanswered. This would leave the object(s) of your testimony with a
reason to return to hear more. “[Mary’s Song of Praise: The
Magnificat] And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit
rejoices in God my Savior, for he who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.” Luke
1:46-47, 49, ESV. Let your testimony magnify Christ Jesus. Tell the object of your testimony
that God has done great things in your life. Listen to the Holy Spirit, maybe
you will have to wait for the person(s) to return before you tell them all
the details of what God has done for you. For now we will continue to keep
the first thing first, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. It may
be better to let them go to ponder the greatness of God. It is possible that
one plants the seed another comes to water it. If the Lord is willing I’ll send
and post the Feast again tomorrow

Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation
depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life
to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to
get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even
the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are
building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to
change anything. Click this link for

God Bless You,
Brother Mike
