Feb 1 Romans

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast this weekend in, Romans 6. Did you have an awesome weekend? I hope so; imagine you as a Roman citizen, a prison guard having a bar-b-que. Your guests are all Roman citizens. You hear one of your guests, Paul deep in conversation with a few other guests. You hear Paul (a great Roman citizen) orating, You tune in on the speaker and what he wassaying; “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:1-4; you might think he was joking or talking about something he heard! He a Roman Citizen and Jewish at that he couldn’t be influenced by the Way! Would it be a shock to your guests, family and friends? If you’re reading this and you don't know Jesus but, you want to know him, say this prayer; "Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I need you as my personal Savior. I here and now open my heart to you. I invite you to come in. Forgive me all my sins and make me your child. I receive your gift of eternal life and thank you for it. Help me live for you every day of my life. Amen!” If you do maybe you’ll be the one, shocking all your friends!

Please send Pastor Glen an email so he can point you in the right direction, Here It’s your life, live it like you want! If God is willing I’ll send and post the Feast News tomorrow.

Your input is important so, let me know what you think. Let me know what you think about The Rest of the Feast News, or See Mary's Corner.

The Feast

mon, Feb 1 10, Romans 6 - The happy effects of justification through faith in the righteousness of Christ. (1-5) That we are reconciled by his blood. (6-11) The fall of Adam brought all mankind into sin and death. (12-14) the grace of God, through the righteousness of Christ, has more power to bring salvation, than Adam's sin had to bring misery, (15-19) as grace did superabound. (20,21)

God bless you,

Brother Mike
