25&24 Dec 2 Kings – Chap 17 18

Feast Christmas

Dear Saints,

Today as we prayerfully read 2nd Kings - Chapter 17 & 18. We are getting closer to that Holy Day that we celebrate as Jesus’ birthday. It is causing more stress than peace on many people. Let’s be praying for those that are sad or stressed out. ”For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth ;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.” – Ephesians 5:8 – 10 I still believe without the Holy Spirit revealing understanding to us we couldn’t understand. Have a Merry and blessed Christmas, Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast Saturday.

“4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7

Thu, Dec 24, 09, 2 Kings - Chapter17, Reign of Hoshea in Israel, The israelites carried captives by the Assyrians. (1-6) Captivity of the Israelites. (7-23) The nations placed in the land of Israel. (24-41).

Fri, Dec 25, 09, 2 Kings - Chapter18, Good reign of Hezekiah in Judah, Idolatry. (1-8) Sennacherib invades Judah. (9-16) Rabshakeh's blasphemies. (17-37).

Let’s be praying for those that are sad or stressed out. ”Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” – Philippians 4:8 – 9 I still believe without the Holy Spirit revealing understanding to us we couldn’t understand. Lord willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Wednesday, December 23, 2009, 2 Kings - Chapter16, Ahaz, king of Judah, His wicked reign. (1-9) Ahaz takes a pattern from an idol's altar. (10-16) Ahaz spoils the temple. (17-20).
