7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk. 24-Jos1

July_23-24_2012 Luke_24_Joshua 1

Dear Saints,

For Monday we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 24 and Tuesday we prayerfully continue feasting in Joshua 1. In Luke we see God's son sacrificed for us. Now just as the Word promised Jesus overcomes death. “1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”” Luke 24:1-7 English Standard Version (ESV). This is done for you and I saint. God is faithful in his promise to save us. For God So Loved the World ;“16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. We should thank God every day not only for our salvation and, our purpose driven lives. ““but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”” Matthew 19:14 ESV.

Now I have 3 appointments at Kaiser on Tuesday so I'm including the Feast in Joshua 1 for Tuesday. Joshua Overview; Here is the history of Israel's passing into the land of Canaan, conquering and dividing it, under the command of Joshua, and their history until his death. The power and truth of God in fulfilling his promises to Israel, and in executing his justly threatened vengeance on the Canaanites, are wonderfully displayed. This should teach us to regard the tremendous curses denounced in the word of God against impenitent sinners, and to seek refuge in Christ Jesus.” – Matthew Henry Concise

Keep the faith keeping first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I am not a Theologian.
