Is This The Day of the Lord?

The Best of the Feast

Feb 11, 2017 – I Thessalonians 5
Is This The Day of the Lord?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Colossians.  By reading 1 Thessalonians 5.

In 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul tell them to be ready for the return of Jesus. Keep doing the good works that Jesus has called them to and to remain physically and morally clean.  The day of the Lord will come just when no one expects it.   “23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”  1 Thessalonians 5:23-24  – New King James Version (NKJV).  Why do we continue to follow Jesus and call people to serve him over two thousand years since this letter was written?  Maybe because through Jesus we have received that peace that is beyond reason in the Holy Spirit.  I know this much Jesus is coming and God never lies (see Hebrews 6:18) God’s Word tells me so.  “1 A Psalm of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:” Psalm 103:1-2  NKJV.   Honor Jesus in everything you do and say (see Colossians 3:17).  Join me Saints in letting Jesus be the center of our life at school, work, play, and wherever else we may be.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Can you hear Jesus calling you?   Do you want God to set you free?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html.

Today’s Verse; “4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 1 Corinthians 13:4-5  NKJV.

God Bless You,
Brother Mike
