How Can We Follow Jesus?

His righteousness; it is the rule and standard of what is right… ” - Matthew Henry Concise” Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 119 reading Psalms 119 Verses 49-96.  The Psalmist is acknowledging that God’s judgments display His wisdom and the humble can approach to make their pleas heard.   The Lord is the true believers inheritance.  Also God is the same then, now and forever. He is saying our God deals with us better than we deserve.   Sin makes us unworthy of God’s salvation.  The psalmist faithfully pursued God’s deliverance from his sins.   “89 Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.”  Psalmn 119:89-90 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Like the psalmist we must pursue God’s salvation.  The only way to get salvation is through faith in Jesus     (see John 14:6).   God’s Word assures us the only way is through faith in Jesus.  “8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”  1 Peter 1:8-9 – ESV.  Therefor we follow Jesus in faith, knowing that all things work our good (See Colossians 3:17).  Proclaiming; God’s love endures forever! Father we thank you for sending Jesus to ransom us from sin!
