Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 3   (Hyperlink).  Do you suppose yourself wiser than another in God’s scripture because you have known Jesus longer?  Don’t fool yourself for the quality of our    relationship with Jesus is far more important the length of our relationship.   18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.” 1 Corinthians 3:18-23 English Standard Version (ESV).  Only the worldly automatically counts age as wisdom!  Only God can see the inner most thoughts of each believer.  We are all servants of the same God; no believer should set himself above another because Jesus rescued him before the other.  As believers we can definitely know Jesus who paid for our sins. “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.Job 19:25 ESV.  We are sure of our redeemer because the Holy Spirit with whom we are sealed gives us confidence in the Word and love of God!  This is folly in the eyes of the unbelievers because they are not sealed with the Holy Spirit.   16 So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.” Romans 14:16-18 ESV.

“The Corinthians reproved for their contentions. (1-4) The true servants of Christ can do nothing without him. (5-9) He is the only foundation, and every one should take heed what he builds thereon. (10-15) The churches of Christ ought to be kept pure, and to be humble. (16,17) And they should not glory in men, because ministers and all things else are theirs through Christ. (18-23)” – Matthew Henry Concise

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:5-8 ESV.
