Hold On To God's Word!

Today’s Feast

Dec. 6, 2015 – I Samuel 23

Hold On To God's Word!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.John 10:14-15, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter 23; David rescues Keilah. (1-6) God warns him to escape from Keilah. (7-13) Jonathan comforts David. (14-18) He is rescued from Saul by an invasion of the Philistines. (19-29)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today as we read in 1st Samuel, the Lord tells David to rescues Keilah from the Philistines. God warns David to escape from Keilah. Jonathan Saul’s son comforts David. God rescued David and his men from Saul using an invasion of the Philistines. “27 a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have made a raid against the land.” 28 So Saul returned from pursuing after David and went against the Philistines. Therefore that place was called the Rock of Escape. 29 And David went up from there and lived in the strongholds of Engedi. I Samuel 23:27-29, ESV. You and I should keep our faith in God just like David. Hold on to God's Word and don't worry about what the world does; “30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.Matthew 6:30-34, ESV. Keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .
