He Does, So We Do!

Today's Feast

Aug. 8, 2015 – Deuteronomy 31
He Does, So We Do!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with salvation.Psalm 149:4, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully18 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. continue the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter 31; “Moses encourages the people, and Joshua. (1-8) The law to be read every seventh year. (9-13) The Israelites' apostacy foretold, A song given to be witness against them. (14-22) The law delivered to the Levites. (22-30)" - Matthew Henry Concise.

This is an interesting chapter in that God speaks of His people turning from Him. I however, prefer to dwell on a promise found in this chapter. “7 Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. 8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”Deuteronomy 31:7-8, ESV. Here we see God giving his Word to Joshua and His people. What about us what does God promise us in the New Testament. “17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and18 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. will be in you. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.John 14:17-19, ESV. Here it is again, God is awesome he never changes. He promises he will never leave us. He says that we live because He lives. Let me say this saints, it doesn’t get better than this! “18 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.Leviticus 19:18, ESV. It looks like God wants us to learn from his Word and do as He does. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Let's not get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything; admenu.com/calling.html
