Today’s FeastDec. 2, 2015 – I Samuel 19Called According To What?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“1
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers
by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by
his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom
also he created the world.”
Hebrews
1:1-2,
English Standard Version (ESV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the
Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter
19;
“Jonathan
reconciles his father to David, Saul again tries to slay him.
(1-10)
David flees to Samuel. (11-24)”
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we read in 1stSamuel Jonathan, Loved
David like a brother. He reconciles his father to David, Saul
being poor in faith, again tries to slay him. God influences David
through his wife Michal, he flees to Samuel. We see what happens
when Saul allows the evil one to influence him. “
15 Then Saul sent the messengers to see David, saying, “Bring
him up to me in the bed, that I may kill him.” 16 And when the
messengers came in, behold, the image was in the bed, with the
pillow of goats' hair at its head. 17 Saul said to Michal, “Why
have you deceived me thus and let my enemy go, so that he has
escaped?” And Michal answered Saul, “He said to me, ‘Let me
go. Why should I kill you?’””
I
Samuel 19:15-17,
ESV.
David’s faith in the Lord our God made him safe. This was
because
he believed God and was called according to God’s purpose; “28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together
for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans
8:28,
ESV. Love
God and be called according to his purpose;
keep the first thing first! That is salvation (John
3:16)
through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. If the Lord is willing I’ll
send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t
get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our
salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus
sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and
accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”
Matthew
24:36,
ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not
wait while you try to change anything. Click this link for more

Bless You,
