Today we see what it means to trust the most high God, praise God! “22 And David left the things in charge of the keeper of the baggage and ran to the ranks and went and greeted his brothers. 23 As he talked with them, behold, the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, came up out of the ranks of the Philistines and spoke the same words as before. And David heard him.” I Samuel 17:22-23, ESV. David didn’t look at the size of the enemy. Just as David has faith in the God of his fathers. As he has trusted the Lord God to protect him before. We should not worry about the size of the enemy; God will deliver the enemy into our hands. Let's just keep the first thing first! That is salvation (John 3:16) through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.
