Depend On God!

Oct. 31, 2013 – Psalms 89

Psalms Chapter 89 - God's mercy and truth, and his covenant. (1-4) The glory and perfection of God. (5-14) The happiness of those in communion with him. (15-18) God's covenant with David, as a type of Christ. (19-37) A calamitous state lamented, Prayer for redress. (38-52)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 89.  As the psalmist calls God he is reminded of God’s promise.  34 I will not violate my covenant
    or alter the word that went forth from my lips.
35 Once for all I have sworn by my holiness;
    I will not lie to David.
36 His offspring shall endure forever,
    his throne as long as the sun before me.
37 Like the moon it shall be established forever,
    a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah”   Psalm 89:35-37 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Jesus will never leave or forsake us (See Hebrews 13:5)! Now let’s keep our eyes on Jesus. “8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9  ESV. The following is a quote from the Holy Spirit Is Calling by brother R. L. Waters (See 10/31/13 # 739)!
“THE HOLY SPIRIT IS CALLING 10/31/13 # 739

1 Peter 5:6-8 (New International Version)

“(6) Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (7) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (8) Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

You may say where is God in times of distress.  No matter what happens in your life God will be there for you.   God will never let you down have faith in Him and His word.  As it says in Verse 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you.  His love for you in everlasting.

Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get.

Let all the people Rejoice and praise Him.
I am not a theologian.

This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God.

Feeling Depressed & Alone

Oct. 30, 2013 – Psalms 88

Psalms Chapter 88 - The psalmist pours out his soul to God in lamentation. (1-9) He wrestles by faith, in his prayer to God for comfort. (10-18)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 88.  The psalmist feeling depressed and alone is calling to his God for liberation.  13 But I, O Lord, cry to you;
    in the morning my prayer comes before you.
14 O Lord, why do you cast my soul away?
    Why do you hide your face from me?”   Psalm 88:12-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Sometimes I think we all feel alone so much that we even question our faith (See 1 Peter 3:18-22)!  That is the perfect time to turn to God’s Word. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9   ESV. This is the reason we depend on Jesus for this feast (See Romans 10:17)!

We thank God for his holy Word and making us all that we are!   Hallelujah!

So softly He is calls! Do you hear my Jesus calling you?  Do you feel inclined to answer His call?  Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link;

14 The Lord is my strength and my song;
    he has become my salvation.
15 Glad songs of salvation
    are in the tents of the righteous:

16     the right hand of the Lord exalts,
    the right hand of the Lord does valiantly!” Psalm 118:14-16  ESV.

Singing And Dancing!

Oct. 29, 2013 – Psalms 87

Psalms Chapter 87 - The glory of the church. (1-3) It is filled with the Divine blessing. (4-7)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 87.  The psalmists are Levite priests singing to God and the dancers are dancing.  6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples,
    “This one was born there.” Selah
7 Singers and dancers alike say,
    “All my springs are in you.””   Psalm 87:12-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).  Jesus is the foundation of God’s church laid by God Himself.  Give praises the Lord (See 1 Corinthians 3:11)!  Like the psalmists let us go through the day with praise on our lips and a song in our hearts. “14 The Lord is my strength and my song;
    he has become my salvation.
15 Glad songs of salvation
    are in the tents of the righteous:
“The right hand of the Lord does valiantly,
16     the right hand of the Lord exalts,
    the right hand of the Lord does valiantly!” Psalm 118:14-16  ESV. Courageously sharing the love of Jesus (See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8)!

Let the love of God guide us in all our ways!   Hallelujah!
