The Best of the Feast Aug. 7, 2016 – Job 1   In Any And Every Circumstance!   clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in Job !; We see Job starting out with God blessing him in every way; “1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil. 2 There were born to him seven sons and three daughters. 3 He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east.”  Job 1:1-3, English Standard Version (ESV).  As we read on we will see a basic truth here about those who love and obey God; “28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28, ESV.   We need to be like Job and Paul; who didn’t let their worldly circumstance dictate their relationship with God; “11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.” Philippians 4:10-11, ESV. When we learn to be content wherever we are in every circumstance; we will also learn to truly be happy for others.   If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
