(1-4) The apostles instructed and sent forth. (5-15) Directions to the apostles. (16-42)“ - Matthew Henry Concise. Continueing in Matthew 10 , we see Jesus telling the disciples how to carry his Word to the community. Who to go to, what to look for, how to act; “11 Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet it. 13 If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!“ Matthew 10:11-15 NKJV Listen, Saint; “this we hear for our ministry (Matthew 28:18-20) as well as the disciple’s ministry.” Once more, keeping the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, (John 3:16) forgiveness of sin. Life more abundantly everlasting goodness. So now we can go forward, announcing; Jesus the Christ to a hungry world. We can continue to prayerfully faithfully Feast on God’s Word; “5 I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. 6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalm118:5-6 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Is Jesus calling to you? Are you ready to know Jesus?
